Training for better interventions

Intended for all professionals in direct contact with teenagers and parents, our training workshops provide an opportunity to develop a better understaning of runaway youth and life on the street.

We offer training sessions in our offices or in your workplace.  For more information about the courses offered, contact us.

Introductory training

Length: 3½ hours

  • Understand why youth run away by exploring possible meanings and motivations behind the decision to leave
  • Familiarize yourself with the stages of life in the street;
  • Become aware of what life is like for affected parents.

Intermediate training

Length: 7 hours

  • Deepen your theoretical understanding of why youth run away;
  • Integrate the realities of life on the street into your interventions with youth;
  • Explore professional practices to accompany youth and parents.

Advanced training

Length: 14 hours

  • Develop intervention strategies for working with street-involved youth and their parents based on an in-depth theoretical understanding of why youth run away.
  • Integrate a knowledge of the realities of the street into your interventions with youth and parents;
  • Develop a common vision and philosophy of intervention tailored to your context and developed through interactive case studies and group discussion.
